Marrakech Part 1

As you probably already know from our snapchat & instagram posts, we recently went abroad to Marrakech, on a girls holiday for our cousins hen party
It was a nice weekend getaway and we managed to get so much done every single day, with barely any sleep!
We've split the post in to 3 parts - so make sure to come back and check out the rest of our trip :)

Day 1:

Leather Jacket: Topshop // T-shirt: Bershka // Jeans: New Look
 Shoes: Toms // Bag: Longchamp
We both wore super casual & comfy clothes for our flight.
Royal Cheese Burger Meal

Before we checked in at our hotel, we decided to grab some (Halal) lunch at McDonald's - something which we had been looking forward to since we booked our tickets.

The Red Hotel - By the Pool Area

After we finished our lunch, we headed to our hotel (which was only a 3 minute walk away from McDonald's) and checked in. We quickly unpacked, organised our stuff and got ready to go out for the day.

Exploring the souks in Jemaa El Fna
Both our jumpsuits are from River Island

Fresh Orange & Grapefruit juices for only 4 Dirhams

We went to Jemaa El Fnaa - the heart of the city - a busy and lively market place with snake charmers, henna stalls, souvenirs, street performers and numerous identical stalls serving freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juice.

We spent a good 2-3 hours exploring and purchasing gifts for friends & family before heading back to our hotel to freshen up and get ready again for dinner.

For our first evening there, we decided to go Le Comptoir Darna for dinner. It is one of Marrakech' most popular restaurant/bar/club and the minute you arrive you can see why. The decor  is gorgeous (quite similar to Gilgamesh in London), the atmosphere was lively, the food was amazing and so was the live entertainment.

We both ordered 'The Legendary Weeping Tiger' - Beef steak, mashed potatoes and pickled ginger served with a soy, lemongrass and ginger sauce.
The restaurant also serves shisha - which you can even have indoors, on the dinner table, however we opted to try another place out to make the most of our trip.
To end our night we headed to Cent Treize for some shisha. While our cousins enjoyed it, it was a bit too harsh for us two, but we had a lovely time nonetheless.
